Sweco Design Center Poland

operates as an internal design center within the Sweco Group. It specializes in providing expert services in planning, engineering, architecture, and design across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, transportation, urban planning, construction, energy, manufacturing, and IT systems. The Design Center currently collaborates with three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

What type of projects you work with:

Geotechnical investigations for all sorts of projects;

Responsibilities:

Lead the geotechnical design process for various projects, including the creation of detailed design drawings, execution descriptions, and control reports;

Perform hydrogeological assessments, including calculations for groundwater drawdowns and soil water flow modeling, as well as specification of monitoring of groundwater lowering systems;

Conduct advanced geotechnical analysis, focusing on soil-structure interaction and advanced material models;

Coordinate with project teams, including engineers from other disciplines, to ensure an integrated approach to project design and execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field;

Professional experience in geotechnical or hydrogeological engineering. We are open to all experience levels, ranging from 5 years to over 15 years of relevant expertise;

Proficiency in software such as

MODFLOW ,

Plaxis ,

Slope/W ,

AutoCAD ;

Proven track record in hydrogeological analysis, including calculating drawdowns and soil water flows, as well as specification of monitoring of groundwater lowering systems;

Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);

Good to have:

BIM, GIS, programming languages (e.g., Python).
