This position will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes clinicians, statisticians, epidemiologists, and bench scientists.***Complexities***This position will independently apply advanced knowledge of scientific research principles and requires high-level knowledge of various methodological strategies and statistical programming expertise.

This individual must also keep abreast of new statistical techniques and developments in statistical and applications programming - specifically those techniques used to biomarker and translational research and be able to advise scientist colleagues on the best methods for particular projects and analyses.***Duties and Responsibilities**** Collaborate with stakeholders in design of research projects. (25%)* Identify methodological approaches and build statistical models for data analysis using R, SAS, and other necessary programming platforms.

Serve as expert on analysis of large longitudinal datasets. (20%)* Prepare appropriate data analysis, including tables, graphs, and written work in a timely fashion. (30%)* Write data handling programs that best facilitate data linkage, transfers, and analyses. (10%)* Collaborate on academic presentations and co-authorship of publications. (10%)* Manage project priorities and timelines. (5%)***MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*** This position requires a Master's Degree in Public Health, Statistics or equivalent graduate level training AND a minimum of three years experience in statistical analysis and modeling.

**Additional Qualifications**This position requires high-level knowledge of various methodological strategies and statistical programming expertise including a demonstrated ability to program in both SAS and R.

This individual must be able to advise scientist colleagues on the best methods for particular projects and analyses. They must have strong writing skills, interpersonal skills, a high level of organization, and enthusiasm for working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
