About Program Operations
The Program Operations team is responsible for executing seamless, thoughtful, and memorable experiences, programs, and events that build and strengthen our vibrant startup community. We create diverse programs and events that support founders, operators, and investors, such as Angel Track, Product Market Fit Method, CEO Dinners, Founder Retreats, and Lead?Sharing Parties. Our events drive value for First Round and its community. Events Coordinator Role
Your core role as Events Coordinator will include: Driving cross?functional event teams (event sponsor, hosts, etc.) to ensure all tasks are on track and events are set up for success. Managing end?to?end event design, planning, budgeting, logistics, and on?site coordination of experiences at our SF office and occasional off?site events. Attending an average of 23 First Round events and dinners weekly, guaranteeing each event meets our standards. Communicating seamlessly with external attendees and vendors to ensure events run smoothly.
Experience Requirements
13 years of progressive event coordination experience. Experience successfully managing at least 45 events at any given time.
Nice to Haves
A shortlist of Bay Area vendors. Experience with events and programs in the startup ecosystem.
Location & Office Requirements
This role is based in San Francisco with a minimum of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday required in the office. Ideal Candidate

Youre service?oriented, stepping in when neededfilling waters, re?printing nametags, etc. Youre creative, willing to push boundaries and innovate event strategies. You love bringing communities together, planning gatherings, and enjoy building social events.
