Sales Estimator
to join their team. The company is known for its high standards of quality, customer service, and technical expertise, supplying major projects across government, defence, and critical infrastructure sectors.

About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded
Sales Estimator
to support the growth of a leading organisation operating within the high-security sector.
You’ll be responsible for preparing detailed quotations and tender submissions, managing customer enquiries, and maintaining a proactive sales pipeline. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time.
Initially, the position will be
office-based during training , transitioning to a
hybrid work pattern
once fully familiar with company systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming customer enquiries via email and phone
Prepare accurate quotations and tender documentation
Ensure all submission requirements are completed in full and on time
Liaise with internal teams to meet client expectations
Maintain and update CRM and tender databases
Manage and develop your own pipeline of enquiries
Build strong, long-term relationships with both new and repeat customers
Conduct timely follow-ups to convert quotations into confirmed sales
About You
Proven experience in estimating, construction, or technical sales
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident working independently as well as within a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Full UK driving licence and access to own transport (due to location)
Experience working within secure, critical, or government-related industries will be an advantage.
