Smith Freed Eberhard is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate to join our Seattle office. The position focuses on personal and commercial litigation across a range of cases, from auto‑accident claims to catastrophic injury matters.

Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the case lifecycle, from initial assessment through resolution
Collaborate seamlessly with attorneys and support staff to maintain client confidence and firm reputation
Apply legal acumen to design and implement strategic solutions that protect client interests and secure optimal outcomes
Qualifications
Member of the Washington State Bar with good standing
1–5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, and arbitrations
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $97,500 – $120,000 annually (dependent on experience)
Bonus opportunities, firm‑paid Bar Association and CLE fees, and professional memberships.
