We’re looking for motivated people who want to join our team and grow lasting and meaningful careers with us. **Apply Now!**Your OpportunityResponsible for the daily cutting processes in the cut rooms.* **Hourly Competitive Starting Pay – $20.90/hour*** **$1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift positions*** **Comprehensive Health Insurance, Retirement Benefits and More.**Core Responsibilities* Be reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work* Maintain a positive work environment* Begin by helping set up cutters and machine guards* Check that the cutter turns off and on correctly* Continuously feed the cutter with raw material, observing for foreign material* Perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting on equipment* Help change blades on cutters, as needed; requiring use of specialized PPE* Fills out cut room paperwork* Assist with daily sanitation clean-up* Maintaining floor free of slip and trip hazards, removing waste materials* Maintain halls and floors free of slip and trip hazards* Maintain workspace cleanliness* Assist supervisor or lead in any assigned task* Follow basic food safety regulations* Follow basic safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment* May require use of electric pallet jack, as neededQualifications* Able to lift 70 lbs and push 600 lbs tubs.Relocation Package AvailableNo**EEO Information***Smithfield is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity.
