About the Role The Commercial Roofing Project Manager will oversee the job in progress to ensure it is on schedule, meets budget both with labor and materials, and monitors each job's safety record.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and commercial roofing jobs
Attend and participate in pre‑construction meetings
Read and understand field books with various construction job scopes of work, plans and specifications to be able to properly plan out jobs and perform work accordingly within schedules and budgets
Establish lines of communication with external and internal customers (GC's, building owners, owners representatives, consultants, project managers, accounting, operations, field personnel, etc.) before, during and after job completion
Instruct the best practices for roofing production by fully participating in on‑the‑job training as well as periodic manufacturer training
Train employees on safety procedures and safety equipment
Teach terminology of roofing materials, tools, and equipment and proper use
Plan, administer, and participate as instructor in company sponsored education programs for new hires and developing roof technicians
