OMNI Consulting Solutions . Location: Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington, D.C. OMNI is seeking an experienced Network Engineer (Subject Matter Expert) to provide advanced technical expertise in the installation, maintenance, and support of networks supporting multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs). This role involves working directly with Air Force program managers, industry experts, and stakeholders across air, space, and cyber domains to ensure secure and reliable network operations for DoD and IC customers. Responsibilities

Install, upgrade, monitor, and maintain network systems (hardware and software) supporting multiple SAPs Manage LAN/WAN systems, including purchasing, installation, and ongoing support of network communications Support operations by troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues, requiring in-depth analysis and evaluation Design and define system architecture for new and existing systems to meet mission needs Implement, configure, operate, and maintain multiple classified and unclassified network systems Assist with large-scale project planning, including vendor comparisons and cost studies Perform network upgrades, data migrations, and firewall installations Monitor network performance using industry-standard tools and ensure compliance with security policies Provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple domains to meet mission-critical requirements Qualifications

Education Master’s degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering) Experience 15+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a related role Hands-on expertise installing, configuring, and managing network switches and routers, including OSPF, MPLS, SDN, and routing/switching on Juniper and Cisco hardware platforms Proficiency with Active Directory, domain controllers, IP addressing, DNS, remote access, VLANs, and VoIP systems Experience working in networks across all classification levels (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret) Skilled in installing and configuring firewalls, performing system upgrades, and managing migrations Experienced in both large-scale enterprise network environments and smaller office setups Well-versed in network monitoring software with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Clearance Requirements Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with current or recent DoD SAP access Must be willing to undergo a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph U.S. citizenship is required Company & Benefits
