Responsibilities
The Search Ads team sits within the Global Monetization Product and Technology (GMPT) organization servicing TikTok For Business, solving brand new problems and finding innovative product solutions for TikTok Search Ads.
Lead product development for TikTok search campaign, continuously improve ad solutions to provide better customer satisfaction.
Analyze and diagnose business problems, opportunities and risks, and then define strategy and roadmap. Define key metrics to evaluate business outcomes and progress.
Work globally and cross‑functionally with engineers, data analysts, product marketing managers and other cross‑functional partners for successful development and go‑to‑market efforts.
Constantly evolve processes and resources to improve the delivery speed and quality.
Be responsible for the ultimate business goal.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years experience in advertising or search or recommendation in a product management function, or 5+ years of relevant technical experience (i.e., Engineering, Data Science, or other).
Deep understanding of and experience in digital advertising.
Fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking.
Excellent documentation, presentation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills, particularly implemented in a cross‑functional and global role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in advertising, search, or recommendation.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin required: the role involves frequent communication with global teams, clients and stakeholders in English‑speaking regions as well as Chinese‑speaking markets. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively engage with Chinese‑speaking partners, understand cultural nuances, and navigate business transactions in key markets, ensuring smooth cross‑cultural collaboration and market expansion.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156,864 - $296,020 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
