Human Resource Administrator

This role provides administrative support to the HR department, serving as the Receptionist and first point of contact for visitors and employees. The role ensures smooth office operations, administration of employee engagement activities, and professional front desk management.
Base pay range $24.00/hr - $26.00/hr
Human Resources Administration
Administer all employee engagement activities such as annual picnic, holiday parties, service anniversaries, special events.
Assist with temporary recruitment processes including scheduling interviews and interfacing with hiring supervisors.
Provide general office support such as filing, scanning and data entry.
Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files, HR databases.
Prepare HR documents such as onboarding materials, internal postings, presentations and employee engagement flyers.
Support payroll, benefits administration, and employee inquiries regarding HR policies.
Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and customers in a professional manner.
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls.
Manage the scheduling of conference rooms and appointments.
Maintain all office areas and meeting rooms, including organizing and stocking of supplies for kitchen areas.
Handle incoming deliveries made to the front desk.
Prepare reports, presentations, and HR-related correspondence.
Qualifications
Previous experience in HR administration and/or reception preferred.
Knowledge of HR software, MS Office Suite, and general office equipment.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task projects on a regular basis.
Ability to be flexible while maintaining a positive customer focused attitude.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Professional and courteous demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions
Office environment with standard hours of Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; occasional overtime required.
Interaction with all levels of staff and external visitors.
Attention to detail and accuracy.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, reach on a regular basis.
