As a Senior Geologist, you influence high-level strategy and drive technical excellence across our most complex and critical development projects. Responsibilities/Expectations

Guides multidisciplinary teams in delivering integrated subsurface studies, ensuring the highest level of technical rigor and business alignment across large-scale development projects

Oversees the construction, validation, and continuous improvement of models and volumetric assessments, promoting innovation in geological modeling and data integration

Identifies and prioritizes field development, appraisal, and infill drilling opportunities, supporting investment decisions with robust technical and economic analysis

Collaborates closely with internal and external partners, including geophysics, petrophysics, and reservoir engineering, to drive field development planning and asset optimization

Provides strategic recommendations for drilling and resource development, balancing technical insight and commercial considerations to guide top-level decision-makers

Mentors junior and mid-career geologists, providing advanced technical guidance and career development

Ensures the review and quality assurance of technical deliverables, maintaining compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements

Education / Years of Experience

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related field, with seven (7) years of related geological experience preferably within the oil and gas industry

Preferred: Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics or related field; minimum of seven (7) years of geological related experience preferably within the oil and gas industry

Other Requirements

Demonstrates excellent organization/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

Proficiency with advanced geological and modeling software, with robust skills in multidisciplinary data integration and project management

Excellent communication skills with demonstrated success influencing technical standards and project outcomes at the organizational level

Preferred: Prior experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex development projects

Standing and walking during fieldwork

Light lifting up to 10 lbs
