Job Summary GGC invites applicants for a Lecturer faculty position in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, starting August 1, 2026. Successful candidates will teach all math courses that serve the general education core (including introductory Statistics), majors of Biology, Chemistry, IT, and Exercise Science, as well as courses that serve the Mathematics major. The department values innovative teaching, scholarship, advising, and mentoring. Candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and student engagement, demonstrate a commitment to improving access to higher education, and be willing to perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Mathematics (or a closely related field), earned on or before the semester of the start date, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline.
Alternatively, a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours within the discipline will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline.
One year of teaching experience.
Conditions of Employment Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in the United States and proof of eligibility will be required upon acceptance of an employment offer.
