As a Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator at Bone Dry, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team in the Cincinnati/Dayton area. You will combine your analytical skills with your sales expertise to estimate project costs, prepare compelling proposals, and close deals with our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be to represent Bone Dry with the utmost professionalism and care while driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering tailored solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Sell and estimate commercial roofing jobs; perform take-offs; write proposals; communicate with business owners or property managers.
Write picking list, order materials, arrange for permits.
Make sure customers are aware of our referral programs.
Generate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors, and other local avenues of business.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has experience with EPDM, TPO, and PVC membrane roofing.
Familiarity with modified shingle roofing and metal standing seam roofing is preferred.
Ability to read drawings and spec books or willingness to learn quickly to perform take-offs, write estimates, and proposals.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Professional communication skills with business owners and property managers.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Pass a background check.
Occasional lifting/carrying of 50 lbs.
1–2 years of customer service experience.
Construction/roofing industry experience preferred.
2+ years of experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales).
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation range: $75k – $110k, commensurate with experience.
