Position Summary The Banquet Manager provides support to Catering and Bar activities, assists concession supervisors, and independently handles all employment actions and employee relations. This role ensures smooth event operations, mentors staff, and maintains high quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in overall management of Catering, Bar, and Concessions operations.
Ensure compliance with all alcohol service policies.
Provide ongoing direction, supervision, and mentoring to hourly event staff.
Troubleshoot technical issues with point‑of‑sale systems.
Manage vault opening/closing and balancing.
Generate employee schedules and verify time.
Support training, development, and performance documentation.
Coordinate catered and concession events from set‑up to tear‑down.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent; 3‑5 years experience in catering or concessions.
Concessions Manager Certificate (National Association of Concessionaires) and advanced food‑service sanitation certification preferred.
Experience with inventory cost control and menu planning.
Basic computer proficiency (E‑mail, Excel, Word, Outlook, Schedule+).
Knowledge of POS and time‑keeping systems.
Cash handling and math skills.
Variable schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Compensation & Benefits Annual salary: $75,000‑$79,000, with bonus eligibility. Full‑time benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, and paid time off (vacation, sick days, 11 holidays). The position remains open until December 31, 2025.
