Consultant at Hale International - Workday Staffing Experts HRIS Analyst – Up to $130,000 – Hybrid (Houston, TX)
We are partnered with a well‑established oil and gas company that is investing heavily in modernizing its HR technology landscape and continues to enhance its Workday environment to support ongoing growth and efficiency.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on HRIS Analyst to take ownership of the Workday tenant, drive ongoing configuration improvements, and support the company’s continued investment in people and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Workday subject matter expert, owning the tenant and supporting end‑to‑end configuration across multiple modules.
Lead requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, and rollout of Workday enhancements.
Support the implementation of Advanced Compensation (go‑live in December) and future optimization projects.
Manage and troubleshoot day‑to‑day Workday issues, including security‑related tasks.
Develop and maintain custom and advanced reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to support HR and business decision‑making.
Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to ensure Workday functionality aligns with business processes.
Provide ongoing system support and participate in Workday bi‑annual release testing and updates.
Required Experience:
3+ years of hands‑on Workday configuration experience.
Expertise in Core HCM plus two additional modules – ideally Payroll, Time Tracking, or Benefits (other module experience also considered).
Strong understanding of full HR business process lifecycle.
Skilled in reporting, calculated fields, and Workday report writing.
Solid grasp of EIBs and experience supporting security configuration.
Excellent problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across HR and technical teams.
