About the Job We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented

BIM Revit Coordinator

to support our MEP design operations through precise model coordination, technical expertise, and disciplined workflow management. In this role, you will ensure the seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into coordinated project models to meet both design intent and client expectations.

This is a

full‑time, Houston‑based position

that requires occasional travel for client meetings and site visits.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Standards & Templates

– Implement and maintain company BIM and CAD standards, templates, and workflows across all engineering disciplines to ensure consistency and quality.

Project Setup & Model Management

– Configure and manage project environments inBIM 360/ACC. Oversee linked models, worksets, and shared parameters for optimized collaboration and model performance.

Technical Revit Drafting

– Lead and mentor the team in Revit modeling and drafting of

mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)

systems with high technical accuracy and attention to constructability. Ensure all drawings reflect current design intent and comply with project standards.

Architectural & Structural Coordination

– Thoroughly interpret architectural and structural drawings to ensure full MEP coordination. Identify and resolve design conflicts and ensure all systems integrate seamlessly with the building layout and structure.

Coordination & Clash Detection

– Perform detailed coordination using Revit and Navisworks to detect and resolve clashes. Maintain updated coordination models and issue clash reports as required.

Client Communication & Information Transfer

– Attend coordination and client meetings to understand project requirements, design changes, and constraints. Accurately transfer and communicate this information to internal design teams to ensure clarity and execution consistency.

Flexible Scheduling

– Maintain a flexible working schedule to effectively collaborate with clients and team members across different time zones and project timelines.

Drawing Production

– Generate coordinated construction documents, plans, sections, and details. Review and ensure drawing accuracy aligns with project specifications and client requirements.

Quality Control

– Conduct regular model audits to verify compliance with company standards and project BIM Execution Plans. Identify and correct inconsistencies promptly.

Collaboration on Global Teams

– Work closely with remote engineers and drafting teams to coordinate tasks, exchange models, and ensure deliverables meet quality and schedule targets.

Process Improvement

– Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and coordination through improved BIM workflows and communication processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in BIM/Revit coordination, preferably within an MEP design environment

Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Naviswork

Strong understanding of MEP systems and interdisciplinary coordination

Occasional travel to domestic sites (5‑10%)

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual: English and Vietnamese
