Job Title: Warehouse Lead
Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for a facility in the Breaux Bridge, LA area. This is a long‑term, nested maintenance position with a regular 4‑10 schedule.
Pay $35.00/hr – $36.00/hr
Responsibilities
No per diem or relocation available. This is ideal for local candidates.
2‑5 years experience in an industrial warehouse
Forklift experience – valid driver’s license required
Experience in supply chain management preferred
Familiarity with oil and gas industry equipment, including valves, pumps, motors, and gaskets
Must be able to effectively manage time and work independently
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and post‑offer criminal background check
Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift; supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products by use of conveyors, cranes, hoists, or industrial trucks; apply knowledge of plant layout and material‑handling equipment and procedures; study receiving or shipping notices, requests for movement of raw materials and finished products, and reports of warehousing space available to develop schedule for material‑handling activities; may confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products; may verify or prepare records, such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders; maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
Preferably 1 to 4 years of experience in specified skill
Basic computer skills preferred
Pre‑employment qualification test if applicable
Post‑offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
Hazard communication orientation/test
Turner Industries Group indoctrination
OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)
Job site orientation
Job site PPE requirements (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel‑toe boots, etc.)
