A Japanese manufacturing company is looking for a full‑time, hybrid Japanese Bilingual Sales Representative for its Erlanger, KY location. A global supplier in the automotive industry is seeking a bilingual (Japanese/English) Account Representative for its North American operations. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates interested in sales administration, with the potential to grow into a Sales Representative role. The pay range for this position is approximately $40k–$50k. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (no employee contribution), a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match, and business travel expense coverage.

Your Essential Duties Would Be As Follows

Develop new clients and expand market share within the automotive industry across North America.

Manage existing service accounts and establish new ones by organizing daily work schedules and client outreach.

Prepare and submit quotes, product literature, and ensure products meet client specifications.

Support mass production launches, coordinating between clients and suppliers, and managing all preparation activities.

Monitor inventory levels, shipping schedules, and coordinate delivery.

Collect proof of payment from customers.

Address and resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints related to products, quality, or engineering.

Revise product pricing, negotiate with clients and suppliers, and create necessary documentation.

Participate in kaizen (process improvement) activities to enhance job flow and accuracy.

Submit activity and results reports, and maintain accurate sales records.

Please Consider The Following Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (advanced Japanese not required).

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Valid U.S. driver’s license (for travel to client sites).

Understanding of Japanese business culture and comfort working in a multicultural environment.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Previous experience in automotive sales or industry‑related positions preferred but not required.
