Responsibilities
Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight, dangerous goods, and ULDs.
Assist in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavy weight freight.
Serve as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors as required.
Perform deice activities and provide deice services to FedEx aircraft as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
Complete all basic and recurring training.
Valid driver's license.
Clerical experience, including typing and general office administration duties (preferred).
Good human relations and communication skills.
Experience dealing with the movement of heavyweight freight using forklifts, tugs, and other loading/unloading equipment (preferred).
Ability to communicate timely and effectively in a noisy operations environment.
