The Department of Natural Sciences serves a student body ranging from science majors to students taking science courses for their core curriculum. The department offers the Bachelor of Science in Biology degree, a broad undergraduate program that prepares students for the modern workplace, graduate school or pre‑professional schools (e.g., medical, dental, veterinary, pharmacy). Job Summary

The position involves teaching, scholarship and service. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening, lower‑level and/or upper‑level biology courses. Travel from the Cochran campus to a satellite campus (Dublin) will be required. Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate biology courses, including day, evening, online and/or hybrid formats. Assist in student recruitment, curriculum development, mentoring and serve on departmental and university committees. Participate in research, scholarship and grant writing as expected of tenure‑track faculty. Travel among campuses as needed. Required Qualifications

Required Educational Qualifications

PhD degree in Biology or a related field, with special attention to anatomy and physiology. Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Experience
