Northern Atlanta Metro Area (Local Remote)
Salary:
$200,000 Annual Earning Potential (Negotiable Base + Commission up to 35% GP) + EQUITY

Our client in the flooring industry is seeking an experienced Flooring Outside Sales Representative to join their team in the Northern Atlanta Metro Area. In this role, you will manage and expand a local trade territory, developing strong relationships with builders, contractors, designers, and other commercial partners while driving new business growth. The ideal candidate will bring a proven network within the flooring industry, a hunter mentality, and exceptional communication skills. To succeed, you must be self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and thrive in a relationship‑driven environment. Responsibilities
Build and maintain trade relationships with builders, contractors, and designers
Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities
Meet with customers to assess project needs and recommend flooring solutions
Present flooring samples and explain product options, features, and pricing
Take accurate measurements and prepare detailed quotes and proposals
Prepare bids and respond to RFPs for commercial projects
Track leads, sales activity, and follow-ups using RFMS software
Participate in weekly sales meetings and ongoing training
Attend NARI and other networking events to generate leads
Meet or exceed personal and company sales targets
Qualifications
5+ years of flooring sales experience with trade and commercial clients is required
Strong knowledge/desire to learn hardwood, carpet, laminate, LVP, and rubber flooring required
Proven ability to develop and close new business required
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills are required
Ability to answer customer phone calls, text messages, & emails on Saturdays is required
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required
