Location Office in Grâce-Hollogne (Liège), Belgium.

Job Description The Key Account Manager is responsible to proactively develop the business in his/her territory, including opportunity and project pipeline, order intake and revenue steering, key account development and management, in compliance with the strategically defined route‑to‑market and with direct customer contact. He/she also technically and commercially consults, coaches and guides subsidiaries and partners (distributors / system integrators) in the territory regarding new orders and business.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Strategy development: actively seek new customers and opportunities based on market information, formulate a sales strategy with relevant stakeholders, and implement it to expand the assigned market segment and improve overall business performance.

Quotation & negotiation: technically understand customer requirements and the mtu Kinetic PowerPack, prepare project calculations & technical‑commercial quotations with the back office support, explain them, and ensure a proper hand‑over of the project to the execution team.

Relationship management: maintain good relationships with stakeholders, customers and accounts to increase turnover and improve customer satisfaction.

Monitor: keep a lookout on market developments and inform relevant stakeholders about opportunities.

Support & coach: provide technical and commercial support to partners and subsidiaries by consulting clients on requirements and advising on products and solutions.

Reporting: report monthly on open quotations, completed orders, lost orders, opportunities and best practices; collect and share lessons learned to uniformize quotation practices and improve offered solutions.

Profile Education

Bachelor or Master in electro‑mechanical or electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the critical infrastructure/infrastructure/ construction & installation/ energy business, or comparable field.

Language

Fluent English.

Additional languages beneficial: French, German, Spanish.
