Account Executive – Four Corners
Hutton Broadcasting is looking for a dynamic account executive to join our fun and fast‑paced media group. The ideal candidate will manage multiple administrative tasks, work with diverse personalities, and handle conflicting priorities. Summary Develops, sells, and maintains business accounts for multiple radio stations and multimedia platforms.
Responsibilities
Makes daily sales calls to prospects and existing clients, presenting program outlines and commercial opportunities.
Conducts customer needs analysis and advises clients on purchasing advertising positions across radio, websites, digital display screens, and other media platforms.
Develops new business accounts, performs daily cold calls, writes and presents professional proposals, and researches market data.
Manages contracts: authoring, renewing, and ensuring proper signatures.
Writes copy and production orders, attends client remote sessions, and assists with set‑up and break‑down as needed.
Picks up and drops off marketing materials and collects account balances from clients on a regular basis.
Communicates regularly with management regarding projections, collections, daily activities, and future advertising ideas.
Coordinates with production, promotions, and traffic departments on radio promotional needs, account changes, cancellations, and copy updates.
Submits daily sales activity reports, call lists, and attends weekly sales meetings.
Maintains company confidentiality and follows all data‑security protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited college/university, or 2–4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong written communication skills: ability to draft proposals, business correspondence, and contracts.
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly to managers, clients, and general audiences.
Proficient in internet software, Windows‑based spreadsheet and word‑processing applications.
Solid mathematical skills: ability to calculate discounts, commissions, percentages, and volumes.
Ability to solve practical problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Strong language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and regulations.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation; able to travel within the state as required.
Work schedule Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (lunch break). Ability to travel in‑state without significant prior notice.
Physical demands: regular computer use, extensive phone time, occasional driving, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
