Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments, including verifying packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.
- Process shipping, receiving, and transfer documents in warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Prepare and file documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve shipping or inventory issues.
- Ensure all clerical duties related to the warehouse are completed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and warehouse/inventory systems (e.g., WMS or ERP software).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
