What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Establish and lead the company’s captive practice as a strategic growth engine within the voluntary benefits portfolio
  • Define and execute market strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and monitoring market trends
  • Lead product design and pricing strategies for large and complex risks, collaborating with actuarial and underwriting teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on captive solutions and represent the company at industry events
  • Provide consultative expertise to clients, brokers, and consultants on leveraging captive models

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales or relationship management, focusing on life insurance or employee benefits
  • Active life & health license required
  • Proven track record in thought leadership, product development, or strategic business management
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States several times per month

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience building or managing captive insurance programs
  • Consulting experience with large and complex employer groups or national accounts
  • Additional licensing such as FLMI, CPCU, or CEBS
