Job Description Bob Allen Ford is seeking an experienced and dependable Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles to ensure our customers receive safe, reliable, and high‑quality service. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify needed repairs
Complete maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and alignments
Repair and replace parts in engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems as needed
Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures for all repairs
Maintain accurate documentation on repair orders
Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommendations
Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
Stay current with training and certifications
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred
Ford certifications or dealership experience a plus
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening
Strong work ethic and team‑oriented mindset
