This role is ideal for advisors with a proven track record in business development and client relationship management who are seeking greater autonomy and the ability to deliver fully customized planning solutions.
As a Financial Advisor, you will:
Deliver Personalized Planning : Provide clients with tailored financial guidance that addresses their goals across wealth accumulation, income distribution, risk management, and estate planning.
Develop Investment Strategies : Construct and manage portfolios in alignment with client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon, using a robust suite of advisory tools and platforms.
Provide Protection Planning : Recommend life, disability, and long-term care strategies that align with broader financial objectives and mitigate financial risk for clients and their families.
Responsibilities Comprehensive Financial Planning
Build and maintain deep client relationships based on trust, transparency, and consistent results.
Design and implement full-spectrum financial plans, incorporating retirement, tax optimization, education funding, estate planning, and philanthropic goals.
Investment Advisory Services
Manage investment portfolios and guide clients through asset allocation, portfolio design, and performance monitoring.
Utilize platforms such as Envestnet, NFS, and others to manage client portfolios and investment strategies.
Provide ongoing education and strategic advice based on market trends and changes in client circumstances.
Risk and Insurance Planning
Evaluate risk exposure and recommend appropriate insurance solutions across life, disability, and long-term care.
Integrate risk management strategies within both personal and business contexts (e.g., key person, buy-sell arrangements).
Client Relationship Development & Management
Cultivate and grow a personal client base through proactive business development, networking, and referrals.
Serve as the lead advisor for clients, providing high-touch service and ongoing financial plan updates.
Team Collaboration and Case Strategy
Collaborate with specialists and other advisors to provide clients with comprehensive, multi-disciplinary solutions.
Participate in team-based casework and internal study groups to strengthen strategy development.
Regulatory Compliance
Maintain all required industry licenses and designations.
Operate in full compliance with state, federal, and firm guidelines and best practices.
Professional Development
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and pursue advanced designations (e.g., CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®).
Stay informed on industry developments and regulatory changes to better serve clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in financial services or wealth management, preferably in a client-facing advisor role.
Strong existing client base or demonstrated ability to generate new business.
FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or Series 6, 63, and 65) required.
Life/Health Insurance License.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Entreprising mindset with a client-first attitude.
AUM of $20M+ is a strong plus.
Compensation $140,000 - $170,000 at plan
