Assistant Project Manager
for our Dallas office located in the Uptown area. This position supports and works alongside a team of retail and office construction Project Managers by managing a variety of administrative and construction management responsibilities while collaborating across multiple departments to achieve goals and objectives at the project level.
Responsibilities
Prepare and edit various documents including general correspondence, service agreements, contracts, Consultant Contracts (PSA’s), commencement agreements, transmittals and construction letters
Coordinate the setup of vendors with workers comp compliance service
Process invoices, tenant allowances and development fees
Work collaboratively with and maintain effective communication with Project Managers and other teams within the organization to ensure that project scope definition is clearly established and understood for all projects
Assist with change orders/requests and ensure they are aligned with project scope, budget and schedule
Create and maintain project files, reporting, database management and billable hours
Review and process RFI’s and Submittals
Review construction plans for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with AHJ’s
Attend on‑site construction meetings
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants
Special projects as requested
Receptionist relief (rotation with other support staff)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management/Engineering, or similar
Previous experience working in construction/architectural environment strongly preferred
Comfortable working in an office environment
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, Procore, Autodesk
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment
Well‑organized self‑starter with the ability to manage competing deadlines
