JOB SUMMARY We are currently seeking candidates for a Clerk position in our Enterprise Shared Service Collections team, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Process area of the Collections department provides three essential services: (1) processing outgoing statements and other mail related to gaming receivables (2) input and upkeep all casino and finance records concerning gaming receivables (3) receive and process all returned item payments, from customers or external sources and agencies (legal, collection and government agencies). HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY Sends out invoices for active receivables, and all other physical correspondences related to the collection of active and returned items as generated by the system automatically or from the Casino Collectors Enters and adjusts the following information in the Casino Management System: Create and update customer CMS accounts to include:
Personal information Bank information Dispositions (Special Remarks) Alteration of deposit dates for active items to facilitate automatic deposit by the relevant casino cages Entry of returned items Entry of returned item payments Change of agency assignment status for individual returned items Change of returned items to write-off status Entry of payments on written-off items
Preparation of all assignment paperwork as required Other duties as deemed necessary by Department Manager and Director WHAT YOU WILL NEED 3 - 5 years’ experience in casino industry experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of Property and Company operations and casino systems; Caesars experience preferred Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and able to learn new Casino Database programs as required Typing speed of at least 35wpm Ability to obtain and/or eligible for required Gaming Licenses ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Enjoys a fast pace, dynamic, challenging and team-oriented work environment Convey an upbeat and positive attitude on the phone while talking to internal clients and external customers in adverse situations Self-motivated and resourceful, with the proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressures Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business Work up to 10 hours per day in a fast-paced, changing dynamic environment Lift at least 45lbs Must be able to sit for extended periods of time WORK ENVIRONMENT TOGETHER WE WIN We believe in delivering family-style service—an approach that fosters warmth, connection, and a genuine sense of belonging.
