Overview
This is an exciting 12-month contract opportunity for an experienced SAP professional to play a key role in the early stages of a massive SAP S4 HANA implementation. This new position offers the flexibility of a remote, in the US or Canada, work arrangement with the expectation of approximately 10% travel to the New Jersey, New Brunswick office. The travel is reimbursed. Alternatively, candidates local to the NJ area can choose a hybrid or on-site work model. Role & Responsibilities
Role & Responsibilities This position will report to the Vendor/Source Master Data DPO (Data Process Owner) and will be responsible for a wide range of activities supporting the SAP S4 HANA implementation and data migration efforts. Key responsibilities include: Support Vendor/Source Master Data DPO with all aspects of the ERP deployment. Schedule and participate in design workshops with Source Data SMEs and cross-functional teams to define, collect, and store user requirements for S4 HANA configuration. Participate in design workshops with KYS and CFIN teams to design the interaction and data flow from CFIN to Transcend S4. Perform data profiling in legacy ERP systems. Identify data harmonization and data de-duplication needs for Vendor and Source objects in legacy ERPs. Support the Data Migration team with user requirements for Vendor and Source Master Data conversions. Support the Data Migration team with pre and post-load validation of Vendor and Source data during each testing cycle and at Cutover. Support the Workflow deployment team (KYS) with requirements, design, and testing of Vendor/Source master data workflows. Create user requirements, test scripts, and defect tracking in JIRA and/or Smartsheet. Create KDDs (Key Design Decisions) and Functional documentation for S4Hana design, specifically for Vendor and Source objects. Perform FIT and BST testing of Vendor and Source Master Data configuration in SAP. Support Business SMEs with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) prep and execution. Coordination of Dual Data Maintenance activities. Support Data Ops team during Hypercare. Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and Experience To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following experience: Experience with SAP Vendor master data is required. Experience with SAP Source objects preferred. Other SAP objects are a plus. Experience with ERP deployments is a plus. 5+ years of Supply Chain experience in any functional area. 3+ years of experience with Vendor or Sources master data. Good understanding of Procurement processes in the Pharma industry. Data migration experience in SAP is a plus. Expert in Excel (create formulas, macros, pivot tables, advanced filters and charts). Experience with Data Quality, Profiling and Cleansing, and Data harmonization. Ability to travel internationally 10% of time.
