We are looking for a Software Development Manager with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering creative solutions for complex problems on an unprecedented scale. The Ideal Candidate Must be technically credible to lead teams of world‑class software engineers and technical program managers. Must be able to make the right design decisions related to product features and technology choices.
Deep understanding of overall systems development life cycle including various methodologies (agile, waterfall, iterative).
Experienced in developing the long‑term strategy for the settlement platforms and translating that into an achievable roadmap.
Experienced in building and managing teams that design and deliver scalable and extensible distributed systems to address complex business challenges.
Understands how to scope and justify resources and budget needs to senior leaders and finance partners.
Consistent focus on operational excellence and security of systems.
Experience with open source technologies, object‑oriented design, and agile development methodologies.
Professional Expertise
7+ years of comprehensive engineering experience
3+ years of engineering team management
8+ years of multi‑tier web services development expertise
Proven capability in full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle management

Proficient in source control management, build processes, testing, and live site operations

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of engineering team management experience
7+ years of engineering experience
8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi‑tier web services experience
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
