Base Pay Range $191,400.00/yr – $287,100.00/yr

Responsibilities
Set and communicate a clear strategic vision for the team, aligning technical initiatives with EvenUp’s broader goals.
Lead teams through the full software development lifecycle – planning, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Establish and champion engineering best practices around coding standards, automated testing, security, observability, and reliability.
Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers, fostering ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and inclusion.
Collaborate across functions with founders, product management, legal, and operations to deliver customer‑centric products.
Contribute hands‑on as needed, especially in LLM integration or AI‑native workflow optimization.
Qualifications
At least 4 years of direct people‑management experience leading engineering teams.
Proven track record of shipping complex, high‑quality software systems.
Strong leadership, mentorship, and inclusive team‑building skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
Deep expertise in scalable system architecture and software engineering best practices.
Nice‑to‑Haves
Experience or interest in AI/ML or legal technology domains.
Background in high‑growth startups or innovation‑focused environments.
