The Gist We are seeking an analytical Data Analyst to design, develop, and maintain dataflows and dynamic dashboards that provide meaningful insights and drive data-driven leadership decisions. In this role, you will transform disparate data sets into interactive dashboards and applications through the optimization of data pipelines and data transformation. The ideal candidate combines technical skills in dataflows, data transformation, data visualization with knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform applications and a desire to learn new a emerging technologies. What Your Day Might Include Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, pain points, and data needs. Define and document functional and technical requirements for dataflows, analytics, and dashboards. Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure alignment between business needs and analytical outputs. Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights. Conduct data validation, quality assurance, and anomaly detection to ensure data integrity.

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Create intuitive and impactful data visualizations that effectively communicate complex insights. Optimize dashboard performance and ensure usability for end-users. Develop automated reporting solutions to streamline data access and decision-making. Provide training and support to end-users on dashboard utilization and data interpretation. Identify opportunities to enhance data processes, reporting frameworks, and analytical methodologies. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. 1-3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data visualizaton or a related role. Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, and Python, R, or other data analytics programming languages. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
