Responsibilities

The Head, Lifecycle Management is accountable for the lifecycle of products for the MSAT advanced therapies organization.

Provides technical and strategic leadership to enable new product manufacturing modalities, manufacturing technology, process control, process understanding, facility design, and network strategy.

Leads global cross‑functional teams to develop and implement high‑value technical solutions for product value chains end‑to‑end.

Owns advanced therapies product technology roadmaps and leads cross‑functional teams in high‑value solution development.

Translates strategic product roadmaps to detailed execution plans and delivers measurable impact on product lifecycle management.

Oversees implementation of life‑cycle management, new technology, and automation projects across manufacturing sites to improve robustness, scalability, and cost of goods.

Ensures technical and manufacturing requirements are addressed throughout the lifecycle of new solutions.

Drives continuous improvement and fosters an operational excellence culture to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Champions data solutions throughout the organization to ensure robust products and processes.

Develops strategies and solutions to achieve growth ambitions, including enhancing reliability, compliance, and efficiency of product value chains.

Builds organizational capability roadmap, defining current and ideal state processes, systems, data, and performance measures, and executes fit‑for‑purpose training and learning.

Maintains a robust technical support network related to lifecycle management, new technologies, automation, comparability, change management, and tech transfers for products.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

University/Bachelors Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent with 12–14 years biotech/pharmaceutical experience; or Masters/PhD with 10+ years experience.

Hands‑on experience in manufacturing operations and/or R&D in a biopharmaceutical setting (cell/gene therapy products, vaccines, or other advanced therapy products).

Experience leading technology transfer activities and technical services for cell/gene therapies.

Excellent technical and problem‑solving skills.

Knowledge of manufacturing sciences, cGMP compliance, change management methodology, and advanced therapies product regulatory and validation requirements.

Knowledge of data analytics/statistics and process automation.

Ability to lead and influence multidisciplinary, cross‑functional teams in an international environment.

Project‑dependent travel.

Compensation USD $173,000 – $299,000 annually.
