Position Summary:

Are you a visionary leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution? Join us as the

Global Director of Product Development and Innovation , where you'll lead the creation of breakthrough kitchen and appliance concepts that anticipate consumer needs and strengthen our global category strategies.

In this role, you'll collaborate with R&D, Product Marketing, and Engineering to accelerate early‑stage innovation—transforming bold ideas into validated concepts ready for integration into product roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Vision & Leadership

Define and communicate a forward‑looking innovation strategy aligned with corporate and category goals.

Monitor emerging technologies, consumer trends, and business models to inform long‑term planning.

Foster a culture of creativity, agility, and customer‑first thinking across global teams.

Build and manage a portfolio of advanced product concepts, guiding them from ideation to proof‑of‑concept.

Evaluate initiatives for strategic fit, feasibility, and impact using a structured stage‑gate process.

Maintain a robust pipeline of validated concepts ready for category integration.

Customer‑Centric Innovation

Lead the Consumer Insights team and embed their findings into strategic decision‑making.

Identify unmet consumer needs and translate them into actionable product opportunities.

Drive early‑stage ideation, validation, and refinement using real‑world consumer feedback.

Ensure concepts deliver meaningful value by staying grounded in user behavior and expectations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with R&D, Product Marketing, Engineering, and PMO to align innovation efforts with category strategies.

Share early insights, validated opportunities, and strategic recommendations with category leaders.

Promote knowledge sharing and build organizational capabilities in early‑stage innovation.

Qualifications/Skills: Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, business, or a related field.

10+ years in innovation management, R&D, product strategy, or a related discipline, including 5+ years in leadership roles.

Experience working with Kitchen/ Consumer Goods Products or similar industry.

Proven ability to translate ideas into executable strategies with measurable outcomes.

Experience leading diverse, high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.

Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to distill complex ideas for varied audiences.

Deep understanding of consumer insights, usability, and human‑centered design.

Preferred

Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant field.
