Product Manager, Ad Platform Transformation – EG Advertising The Expedia Group Advertising (EGA) Product team creates innovative advertising solutions that connect our partners with millions of high‑intent travelers across the Expedia Group ecosystem. We focus on crafting products that deliver measurable results for our advertising partners while enhancing the traveler experience. We work closely with teams across Expedia Group to achieve growth and results for both our partners and our company.

In This Role You Will
Determine how EGA is evolving its ads business and prioritize platform investments to create maximum efficiency and scale.
Rationalize the confluence of onsite and offsite campaign configuration capabilities required to create a seamless booking experience for display ads regardless of product family or offsite demand channel.
Integrate identity management and user roles into the ad platform to enable simple and flexible onboarding to a variety of use cases and product experiences.
Focus work on enabling EGA stakeholders who will use the ad platform to enable new products, services, user capabilities, and admin tools.
Demonstrate the value of the ad platform roadmap for display ads over time and how it supports long‑term acceleration of EGA goals and KPIs, including business value (outcomes) realized from these platform investments.
Drive critical alignment among the many EGA functional teams on the platform roadmap and priorities while establishing their respective roles and responsibilities for requirements gathering and vetting.
Invest in observability and monitoring of the platform capabilities you bring to market to foster rapid adoption and build user trust.
Integrate automation into the platform’s campaign creation and optimization processes, replacing manual intervention with ML/AI‑driven experiences.
Provide deep market and advertiser insights to guide the development of campaign configuration, optimization, and reporting capabilities within the platform.
Resolve cross‑functional escalations and ensure alignment on campaign configuration and management capabilities with the EGA commercial teams.
Track and communicate external trends in digital media buying practices to ensure EGA’s product strategy is aligned with the larger industry.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience, including leading technical products in an AdTech or e‑commerce environment.
A proven track record of owning the end‑to‑end product lifecycle (strategy, roadmap, execution, launch, iteration) and working with cross‑functional teams (engineering, research, design, commercial).
Strong domain expertise in platform product management and its practical applications for solving large‑scale business problems.
Domain expertise in digital advertising (AdTech), with knowledge of display advertising, programmatic advertising, campaign configuration, and performance metrics (CTR, ROAS).
Preferred Qualifications
Observable leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to align and influence leaders and stakeholders across departments and organizational levels.
Product storytelling skills that clearly articulate the value proposition of complex initiatives to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Proven ability to rationalize and prioritize a backlog in a highly matrixed operating environment.
Skilled at translating highly ambiguous business issues into structured problem statements.
Comfortable working with a diverse set of team members and positively influencing a large organization.
Ability to prioritize with conviction and communicate decisions effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at cultivating key interpersonal relationships.
Strong meeting facilitation skills that bring out the best contributions of all participants.
Compensation The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $128,000.00 to $179,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $205,000.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $137,500.00 to $192,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $220,000.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
The total cash range for this position in San Jose is $149,000.00 to $208,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $238,500.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
