Position Summary for Revenue Analyst
The Revenue Analyst will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and resolving customer deductions, driving process improvements, and supporting account management and reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of deduction-related issues. Key Responsibilities
Monitoring, Analyzing, and Resolving Customer Deductions
Identify trends in deductions (e.g., shortages, damages, pricing issues, vendor compliance) Review and manage deduction balances, ensuring proper documentation Collaborate with customer service, sales, and other teams to resolve deductions Process Improvement and Prevention
Develop and implement solutions to reduce and prevent deductions Identify and implement process improvements Test new features and functions to enhance the deductions management process Account Management and Reporting
Maintain a detailed portfolio of top customers Provide weekly/monthly updates and support for internal/external audits Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams (AR, sales, operations, etc.) Liaise with external business partners (customers, brokers, etc.) Facilitate changes and process improvements Technical Skills
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s) Familiarity with customer web portals and enterprise systems (ERP, HighRadius, etc.) Ability to analyze large data sets and generate reports Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving
Verify promotion event details and address discrepancies Follow up with customers for additional documentation Initiate disputes for invalid deductions Prioritization and Time Management
Manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment Work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related discipline 5 years’ experience Experience in accounts receivable, revenue analysis, or commercial finance (Food/CPG industry preferred) Strong analytical and communication skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Knowledge of HighRadius and ERP systems preferred Curious and proactive in problem-solving Dependable and accurate in work product People-oriented and collaborative Adaptable and achievement-oriented Autonomous and innovative in approach The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
