Alex AI
Founded in a YC batch, Alex is a fast‑growing AI recruiting startup building the future of hiring. We combine real‑time video interviews with AI technology to help companies hire faster and smarter.
Why Alex? We’re successful with strong traction, well‑funded by leading investors, and operating with a flat structure that eliminates bureaucracy. As an early employee you’ll build from day‑one, experience massive growth opportunities, and play a key role in a career‑defining product.
What would I do?
Source leads via phone calls, emails, social media, the website, and conferences.
Conduct demos and navigate procurement to close deals.
Develop and maintain sales enablement resources such as decks, prospecting templates, and call scripts.
Track performance, report on revenue generation, and pivot data‑driven strategies based on market reaction.
Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
Conduct deep market research to stay up‑to‑date on customer needs.
Own and manage the company CRM, logging all customer interactions and configuring the system to the company’s needs.
Is this right for me?
Productive: constantly move forward and avoid wasting time.
Disciplined: thrive in routine and stay organized.
Results‑oriented: get the job done effectively.
Communicative: speak efficiently and listen closely when collaborating with the team and engaging with potential customers.
Independent: comfortable working autonomously and building from scratch.
Bonus: prior sales experience with recruiting leaders, staffing, or RPOs; disclosed ability to close high‑value deals.
Why you shouldn’t apply If you seek stability in a traditional 9‑to‑5 environment or lack interest in AI and the hiring space, this role may not be the right fit.
What’s in it for you?
Responsibility of building a next‑billion‑dollar company.
Exceptional team: collaborate with a tight‑knit group of builders.
Impact: sell products that directly enhance people’s careers.
Learning: work daily with co‑founders in San Francisco.
Upside: competitive salary, commission, and equity.
