Senior Electrical Engineer The Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects from concept to production. This role ensures all work complies with corporate objectives, FDA regulations, ISO standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The engineer will plan and execute engineering studies, develop specifications and design documentation, and support the validation of manufacturing processes and test methods. This position requires a hands‑on engineer with strong analytical, design, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will create detailed design drawings, perform material and tolerance analyses, and develop specialized manufacturing and test equipment. Cross‑functional collaboration is essential to drive product and process improvements, resolve technical challenges, and maintain the highest quality standards throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and complete engineering projects in alignment with corporate goals, GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements. Define project requirements, specifications, and design guidelines through research, calculations, and conceptual layouts. Prepare technical documentation including product specifications, cost estimates, reports, proposals, and presentations. Generate design drawings, electrical schematics, material analyses, and tolerance computations. Conduct engineering studies to support equipment selection, process optimization, and parts evaluation. Develop and execute test protocols, technical reports, and procedural documentation. Lead or participate in design reviews following design control requirements; write and execute verification and validation protocols and reports. Design, build, and implement specialized manufacturing and test equipment to support production. Identify and implement product and process improvements through data‑driven analysis and innovation. Draft and execute process validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ/TMV). Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve product and manufacturing issues. Complete additional engineering duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications
5–6 years of experience in a regulated industry (medical device preferred). Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, LabVIEW, Minitab, SolidWorks, Altium, and SPICE. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with project stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in both tactical execution and strategic project planning.
