Job Description
Pay Range:
$80hr - $85hr
The SAP BRIM FICA Consultant will serve as the primary functional expert for all SAP BRIM FICA-related business processes, leading system design, configuration, integration, and support initiatives.
The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other SAP module owners to ensure seamless delivery of SAP FICA solutions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the functional lead and main point of contact for all SAP BRIM FICA-related business processes, including upgrades, defect resolutions, and implementations.
Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze complex requirements related to accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, and collections.
Design and document SAP FICA solutions, including system configuration and customization.
Configure core FICA functionalities such as invoicing, payments, refunds, dunning, write-offs, and security deposits.
Set up and manage configuration elements such as main/sub transactions, payment hierarchies, clearing rules, and dunning strategies.
Manage integration of FICA with SAP BRIM modules (Convergent Invoicing and Convergent Charging) and ensure seamless integration with SAP FI/CO in S/4HANA.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and test custom enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solution quality.
Create and execute test plans, document test results, and manage issue resolution during all testing phases.
Identify process improvements and implement system enhancements to optimize FICA operations and increase efficiency.
Provide ongoing production support and resolve complex system incidents.
Mentor junior team members, facilitate knowledge sharing, and maintain detailed system and functional documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
6–8+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP FICA, including multiple end‑to‑end implementation cycles in a BRIM environment.
Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA.
In‑depth knowledge of FICA processes such as master data, document posting, payment runs, and collections.
Strong understanding of Billable Item Management (BIT) in Convergent Invoicing.
Familiarity with Creditworthiness Management and Dispute Management components.
Working knowledge of BRF+ for business rule management and standard SAP interfaces.
Experience with SAP Activate, ASAP, or Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
