CGI Position Overview
CGI Federal invites applicants for a Software Release Train Engineer (RTE) role within our Intel sector to advance the national security mission through cutting?edge technology. The RTE will facilitate and manage the flow of value through an Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring smooth, efficient software releases and continuous improvement. Location: Arlington, VA (hybrid model acceptable). Must live within a 50?mile radius of the DMV/NCR. Responsibilities Facilitate ART events such as PI Planning, system demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions. Optimize flow of value through the ART, identify and remove bottlenecks, and ensure efficient processes. Coach teams and individuals on Lean?Agile practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Manage dependencies and risks, aligning strategy and execution across teams. Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to align on strategy, execution, and overall goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using data and feedback to identify areas for optimization. Support PI planning and help teams define objectives and dependencies. Monitor and report ART performance, tracking progress against goals and reporting key metrics. Promote a healthy ART environment, ensuring team well?being and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; 5?8 years of related experience. Active TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly optional, preferred). SAFe RTE certification preferred. Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks. Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills. Problem?solving and conflict?resolution abilities. Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps. Leadership and servant?leadership mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $88,200.00 $214,800.00. Benefits include competitive compensation, comprehensive insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, paid time off, parental leave, tuition assistance, and wellness programs. Equal Opportunity Employer
