Job Description We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your career to the next level. You are responsible for carrying out critical and timely document reviews and updates across all areas within CDAO, focusing on Data Governance, Privacy, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and Analytics. You will also partner with the Office of Document Governance (ODG), various business functions, and support functions to meet the firm’s business requirements.
As a Vice President-Data Management Lead – Document Governance at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO), you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to review, update, and publish governing documents necessary for the CDAO organization to meet business needs and legal and regulatory requirements.
Job responsibilities
Work closely with the Office of Document Governance to drive compliance with firmwide governing document initiatives and requirements related to governance, communication, technology, and innovation
Manage CDAO governing documents, including review with stakeholders during annual / ad hoc refresh cycles, with a focus on Data Governance and Data Risk Management
Contribute to the development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the firmwide Data Risk Management Standard
Manage forums by developing meeting materials and soliciting agenda items from Line of Business and Corporate Function stakeholders
Manage the socialization of governing documents with relevant stakeholders for review and feedback
Review firmwide policies and standards to ensure CDAO’s alignment with procedure/process requirements; work with relevant stakeholders to create CDAO-specific requirements and assign ownership, as necessary
Support partnership with Regulatory Engagement and Office of Legal Obligations
Lead governing document training and other group initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong command of English grammar and style to ensure high-quality documentation
Strong communication, project management, process, and business analysis skills
Self-starter; able to work autonomously with discipline
Ability to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on time with high quality
Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable with partnering with people at all levels and across all functional areas (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Controls, Technology, and Business Operations)
Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with varied stakeholders and audiences
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Experience developing and implementing policies, standards, procedures, or guidance documents to be used by a wide range of users
Experience with Data Risk Management, AI/ML, and/or Analytics
Experience with risk management and governance
