About the Role Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Business, National Airspace, and Technical Computing Services (BNATCS) contract. As a trusted partner to the Federal Aviation Administration, you will support the full lifecycle of federal acquisitions—from market research and solicitation development to evaluation and award—helping modernize and sustain the National Airspace System (NAS).
Responsibilities
Support source selection activities, including solicitation preparation, proposal evaluation, and documentation review.
Assist in the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), evaluation criteria, and source selection plans.
Perform market research and gather data to support acquisition planning and supplier analysis.
Track and maintain procurement files, evaluation documentation, and compliance records.
Participate in evaluation team coordination meetings while maintaining confidentiality of selection materials.
Analyze supplier proposals for responsiveness, accuracy, and adherence to FAA and federal requirements.
Support cost and price analysis, comparing vendor quotes and verifying compliance with solicitation terms.
Ensure all activities align with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) and FAR/DFARS standards.
Prepare source selection summaries, recommendation reports, and final award documentation.
Collaborate with Contracts, Legal, and Program Management teams to support timely procurement execution.
Maintain audit‑ready procurement documentation.

Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience, or High School Diploma with 6 years of experience.
Experience in procurement, acquisition support, or contract administration.
Familiarity with source selection processes, proposal evaluations, and acquisition documentation.
Understanding of FAA AMS, FAR, or equivalent federal procurement policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and procurement tracking systems.
Understanding of contract terms, evaluation criteria, and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with cost, price, and technical evaluation frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to FAA programs or NAS systems.
Experience supporting FAA, DOT, or other federal government programs.
Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Acquisition Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Professional certifications such as CFCM (Certified Federal Contracts Manager) or DAWIA Level I.
Experience supporting FAA or federal government acquisitions.
Knowledge of procurement systems such as Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, or SAP.
Knowledge of evaluation scoring methodologies, supplier performance analysis, and cost realism assessments.
Exposure to small business subcontracting, socio‑economic goal compliance, or vendor diversity initiatives.
Salary Target Salary Range: $51,000 – $82,000. Salary is determined by position scope, individual experience, education, skills, and geographic location. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus may be available.
