The University of North Carolina is seeking a fixed‑term Clinical Track Associate or Full Professor to serve as the Graduate Program Director of Endodontics. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the three‑year Master Program in Endodontics, including resident recruitment, curriculum development, scheduling, and program administration. The role also includes responsibilities in research, scholarly publishing, and participation in Dental Faculty Practice, aligning with school and university performance and scholarship expectations. The rank, salary, and responsibilities will be commensurate with the candidate’s training, experience, and academic achievements.
Oversee all aspects of the three‑year Master Program in Endodontics, including resident recruitment, curriculum development, scheduling, and program administration.
Conduct research, scholarly publishing, and participate in Dental Faculty Practice in alignment with institutional performance and scholarship expectations.
Lead and supervise program activities, ensuring compliance with CODA accreditation standards.
Act as a Campus Security Authority: report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual reporting training as required by the Clery Act.
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent, with advanced training in Endodontics and be a board‑certified Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics or be board‑eligible.
Significant clinical and academic experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Leadership, administrative, supervisory, and CODA accreditation experience preferred.
