Project manager - Master Scheduler
Location: Primarily remote. Candidates must reside within DC, MD, VA, or WV. The selected candidate will be required to be on-site at least twice a month in Reston or DC during the initial phase, with on‑site requirements likely decreasing after a few months or once the initial project stage concludes.

Role Summary Client is seeking a Master Scheduler responsible for developing and managing implementation schedules for large, complex, cross‑functional programs using Microsoft Project. Projects will primarily follow a hybrid Agile‑Waterfall delivery model.
Responsibilities
Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders to build initial project schedules.
Set and standardize schedule management practices for the ePMO.
Create templates and standardized reports to ensure consistent schedule governance.
Focus on initial schedule creation and handoff to Project Managers for ongoing maintenance.
Support maturation and standardization of scheduling practices across the organization.
Present schedule status updates, visuals, and reports to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in project scheduling using Microsoft Project.
Experience working in hybrid Agile and Waterfall environments.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional/matrixed teams.
