Flexible schedule includes Monday through Sunday with an A.M. shift Responsibilities: Load and unload customer aircraft while ensuring the safety and security of baggage and cargo. Safeguard passengers' luggage and air cargo from weather-related issues, theft, or damage. Lift, sort, and transfer baggage and freight to and from aircraft in compliance with safety standards. Operate pushback equipment, maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety. Record customer baggage and freight accurately as required. Transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and maintain accurate records. Drive motorized equipment such as belt loaders and pushback tugs, or manually handle push carts. Complete necessary paperwork and enter information into the company's systems. Perform additional related duties as assigned based on skills and experience. Qualifications: Must be a local resident with a valid in-state driver’s license. Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and undergo a 10-year background check. Minimum age requirement of 18 years. Must have authorization to work in the United States. Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification. Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 70 pounds and regularly lift 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. Physical ability to walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in cramped or elevated spaces. High School diploma or GED required; preferred one year of related experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Effective verbal communication for conveying information and instructions.
