Qualifications

5+ years of experience practicing and executing systems engineering processes

5+ years of experience working on a space Major Defense Acquisition Program

2+ years of experience working with network or data systems in the DoD or IC

Experience with stakeholder management and requirements derivation, establishing and creating technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, and inter‑service support agreements

Ability to comprehend complex problems where capabilities are affected by achievability, affordability, and scheduling

Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics field

Nice If You Have

7+ years of experience practicing and executing systems engineering processes

7+ years of experience working on a space Major Defense Acquisition Program

Experience with designing and creating network and data architecture recommendations for enterprise systems

Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2

Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02

Knowledge of Agile Methodologies

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Master’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics field

INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification

Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, experience, and organizational requirements.
