Gray AES . Gray AES is seeking an Architecture Sr. Design Manager who speaks Japanese to join our team in one of our offices in Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, or Lexington, KY. Responsibilities
Review design proposal criteria and facilitate preparation of proposal documents for construction personnel, subcontractors, and vendors. Provide research regarding project design, code, and regulatory requirements. Consult with customers to determine functional and spatial requirements for new structures or renovations, and prepare related design information. Prepare project layouts and integrate engineering elements into unified designs for customer review and approval. Ensure quality assurance and quality control of design documents across all disciplines. Manage design contracts with clients and sub-consultants. Facilitate design reviews and presentations for customer approval. Coordinate design activities with clients and sub-consultants. Oversee schematic, design development, and construction documents; manage construction administration activities. Develop project schedules and cost estimates for design activities. Monitor design activities for compliance with Gray AES standards and procedures. Manage administrative and cost aspects of design projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum of 7 years related experience). Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, email, AutoCAD; knowledge of project-specific applications preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a passion for collaboration and professional growth. Physical Demands & Work Environment
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, and talking. Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Visual acuity for near and distant vision. Office environment with moderate noise; occasional exposure to outdoor conditions and job site hazards. Overtime and travel may be required. Supervisory Responsibilities
