Alliance Sales Executive, Associate Director – Microsoft, Consumer Products & Retail Our Sales & Strategic Pursuits (S&SP) function brings together technology, business, sector, account knowledge along with EY competencies and solutions to meet unique client needs and opportunities. The S&SP Organization is a catalyst for market‑leading growth, shaping and driving an integrated growth strategy across EY’s largest accounts, industry sectors, solutions, and services, while demonstrating and achieving market leadership through a client centric culture.

The opportunity As a Microsoft Alliance Sales Executive (MSFT SE), you’ll be part of the largest alliance at EY as well as one of our fastest growing alliances. You’ll be relentless in driving the pursuit of new business, driving alliance partner pipeline and sales for EY by originating deals across three channels: clients, the MSFT field teams and EY account teams. You’ll be a market‑facing, experienced seller and subject matter expert focused on the overall Alliance sales strategy generally and the MSFT powered EY solutions relevant to Consumer Products and Retail industry clients specifically. You will build deep relationships with the alliance partner field, advocate and evangelize for EY and be the face of MSFT within EY to our sector and account teams and help expand the EY MSFT Alliance in the US.

Key Responsibilities • Lead the Alliance sales activity by delivering against defined sales and pipeline targets. • Build relationships with top priority clients for joint alliance pursuits and drive sales directly in the market. • Serve as a subject matter expert on the alliance program, MSFT powered transformations and solutions and the joint EY‑MSFT value proposition. • Lead independent pursuit qualification and collaboration with MSFT channel teams and EY account and industry leadership.

You possess natural coaching skills, inspire others through actions, and act as a trusted advisor to clients, Microsoft, and EY’s account teams, pulling stakeholders together to drive strategic initiatives and grow sales.

Qualifications

12‑15+ years of quota‑carrying sales experience in professional services, solutions, and technology.

Direct and MSFT channel sales experience.

Experience selling enterprise solutions to Consumer Products and Retail clients.

Services sales experience at a Big 4 firm or other GSI.

Knowledge of top Microsoft technologies including Azure/cloud, Data & AI, cyber, and Power Platforms.

Expert client management and relationship skills, strong executive presence, and ability to influence without authority.

Expert knowledge of EY’s alliances, products, and services.

Strong understanding of the marketplace/industry, competitive intelligence, and target account profiles.

Strong conflict resolution skills.

A university/bachelor’s degree.

Ideal Experience

Technical IT background and/or delivery management leadership experience.

Strong coaching and mentoring skills.

Team selling experience.

Willingness to travel.
