We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to ensure the highest level of quality in our products and processes. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, conducting audits, resolving quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and systems.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality-related issues.

Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure product quality and process control.

Interpret and implement quality standards.

Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.

Participate in new product development to ensure quality is built into design and manufacturing.

Handle non-conformance reports (NCRs) and customer complaints.

Assist in training employees on quality processes and tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, PPAP, 8D, Six Sigma).

Support regulatory compliance activities and third-party inspections as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role (industry-specific experience is a plus).

Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, DMAIC).

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME, AWS).

Proficient in statistical analysis and quality software (e.g., Minitab, SPC software).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, or FMEA.

Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

Experience in welding standards (AWS and/or ISO) a plus.

The base salary range for this role is $66,100 to $99,200. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
